Ombre Powdered Brows is the newest PMU shading technique in the industry. It is different from the traditional method of tattooing. Ombre is just a style of powder brows that is soft in the fronts and gradually darker towards the tails. It is 100% customizable and is great for anyone who wants a natural makeup look, or a makeup filled look. This technique creates pixelated dots to mimic powder brow makeup.  This procedure normally last for two years.

A typical brow appointment lasts 2 to 3 hours, depending on the artist. A touch up appointment lasts anywhere from an hour to 2 hours, depending on the amount of work that needs touching up.

An in-person consultation will be conducted at the beginning of the appointment to help the artist create brows that will best fit the client.

Eyebrow tattoo typically requires a second touch up appointment, because all client’s skin is different and receives the ink differently. It’s impossible to accurately predict how a pigment will be affected by a client’s undertones. After 4 weeks, the client should come in for a touch up. This appointment can last as little as 30 minutes or as much as two hours, depending on the amount of work needed. In this appointment, the artist will “warm up” or “cool down” the colors, to get it to match perfectly.

Avoid caffeine (such as coffee/tea) or alcohol consumption 24 hours before your appointment. This is to minimize any bleeding or swelling during and after the procedure.

Do not workout the day of the procedure because it expands the pores.

Do not tweeze, wax, tint, for one week prior to treatment. If you bleach your eyebrows, the chemicals will bleach the pigment as well.

Avoid having your brows done when you are too tanned as tanned skin exfoliates and bleeds and the pigment will not ‘take’ and will look blurred. Ideally, you should have no tan or sun exposure 30 days prior to your appointment.

No chemical peels 60 days prior or 60 days after because the chemicals travel under the skin and will fade your eyebrows.

No Retinols/Retina-A or other anti-aging creams or serums containing acids 30 days after your appointment. These products will fade your brows prematurely even after they have healed.

Any previous laser removal of eyebrows will result in scar tissue and the pigment may not ‘take’ and may fade prematurely.

Re-schedule your appointment if you have any active blemishes or pimples on your eyebrow area.

Do not use Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil or Ibuprofen (Advil) for at least 24 hours before your procedure.

Read carefully the list of people in the FAQ’s who are not good candidates for this permanent makeup procedure before proceeding.

Depending on your skin, healing can take up to 7 to 14 days.

Yes, the procedure will not start until we’ve agreed on a color and shape that is flattering to your facial features. To ensure you are satisfied with your service we request that you carefully look at the shape and color before we start the service. Once the decision is made, the look you chose will be final. After leaving our salon we are not responsible or liable for any changes you wish to make to your shape or color so please make sure you are final with your decision. Any desired changes made to the shape or color after leaving our salon will result in extra charges.

In order to reduce the risk of complications or infection it is best to keep the treated area dry for a week. This also helps in retaining the pigmentation to keep it at its full potential.

Not on the treated area for at least one week but everywhere else is fine. You may only wear make-up on the treated area if it has completely healed.

It usually takes two sessions to achieve your desired results (initial session + touch up).  It is also case by case and can depend on how well your skin retains the treatment. Touch ups are highly recommended and cost varies depending on the time frame you choose to return. To ensure great results we recommend booking your touch up appointment within 5—8 weeks after your initial appointment.

No, if your brows have been done by a different artist then your service will be considered an initial appointment. Corrections done on previous work can be very complicated, time consuming, and 100% result cannot be guaranteed. I need to set aside more time for each corrective service, therefore I charge an additional  $50-100 on top of the new brow service if corrections are needed. Some factors that determine the amount of sessions and cost are the depth of pigment and darkness of color compared to the desired result.

If you have previously had work done on your brows by a different artist we require that you send in a photo before your appointment so that we can assess the time needed for your appointment.

We recommend getting a touch up after 5 weeks from the initial session.  To ensure that you are able to secure your desired date, we can pre-book your touch up appointment the day of your first session.

You must arrive on time.  If you are running more than 15 minutes late you will have to reschedule your appointment and  forfeit your deposit fees. Being late will create a delay to the artist’s schedule and is unfair to other clients.

It is our policy to only treat clients who qualify for our services. If you neglect to do so and show up with any condition that makes you an unsuitable client we will refuse service and you will lose your deposit. It is also important to be honest and inform the therapist of any medical conditions you have before your appointment.

Please read our policy found in our terms & conditions under “Contact & Booking” to see if you are a suitable client for our services.
